'Mockingjay' Suzanne Collins by Bobbie Lee Gover 9WE

Mockingjay is the third book of The Hunger Games series.  After reading the first two books, I wanted to read the final book because it was left on a cliff-hanger. It is set in the near-future.

(Warning: spoiler alert if you haven't read the series - if you don't want to be spoiled do not read the next paragraph)

Katniss survived two Hunger Games, but her home, District 12, has been destroyed. She is now hiding in the forgotten district of District 13. To make things worse, her love interest, Peeta - his memory has been tampered with by the Capitol (where the villain, President Snow, lives) so he doesn't remember her that he loves her, but believes that she caused his family, friends and home to be destroyed; he wants to kill her. Whilst Peeta struggles to remember who Katniss really is and what really happened to them, Katniss has to help District 13 in bringing the Capitol to it's knees.

My favourite part is the Epilogue, but I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it. I'd defiantly recommend this book, so if you're haven't read the Hunger Games, you need to read it. Start with the first book; it'll be very confusing otherwise if you read the ones after it first. Can't wait for the film adaptation.
